I love when the weather cooperates and I get sunny days and perfect skies - like it did for Peyton’s senior portrait session near Cumberland, Maryland.

We began Peyton’s session at Stonebridge Events in Cumberland, MD.

This soon to be graduating senior attends Mountain Ridge High School. She will graduate in May and plans on attending college afterwards. Although she is undecided on where, she does want to go into nursing!

Peyton is a member of the Nation Honor Society, Leadership Allegany, Minds in Motion, and has been on the honor roll at her high school. I believe she has what it takes to do whatever she sets her mind to!

After Stonebridge, we headed to a glorious field of goldenrod! Peyton knew when she booked her senior photos that she wanted to have some of them taken in a yellow field of flowers. She booked early enough so that was easy to schedule.

Always surround yourself with good people who will encourage and love you for who you are.
— Angie Smith

Peyton loved being able to have an input on the type of photo session she wanted. We had a blast going to different locations and she was an absolute natural in front of the camera!

Graduating from high school is a momentous occasion in any teenagers life and I love being able to capture these final moments before they step out into the world on their own.

If you or someone you know is graduating in 2020 or 2021, send them my way! I would love to talk about their passions and capture their senior portraits!

Esther and her horse are two incredibly stunning beauties. I was honored I had the chance to meet them both and capture their unique bond. Esther spends her time with her horse at Spring Gap Farms in Allegany County, MD. This was the perfect place to capture her special moments. I was thrilled when Esther’s mom told me she wanted photos taken with her horse!

Esther attends Bishop Walsh School and graduates this May! Esther plans on going to Shepherd University to pursue a bachelor’s in photography and possibly graphic design. I am so excited for her and can not wait to see her work!

Esther also wants to play college level volleyball - a sport she has been playing for seven years! She’s also been riding horses for eight years and has ran track for the last four years.

Esther enjoys playing the ukulele, photography, sketching, and video games.

We were only able to get a few photos in this location. Esther’s horse, Aragon heard the the other horses being called for dinner! He was not interested in any photographs! Esther released him and he galloped at great speed back to the barn to be fe…

The one piece of advice is to be true to yourself. Follow your dreams and passions, and have fun along the way. The most important thing in life is not what you do, but that you enjoy doing it.

One of my favorite things about capturing senior portraits is the fact that my clients love incorporating their passions into their session! Take Jackson for example. He loves his dog, Baxter, and playing drums. He was thrilled to have the opportunity to include these two important aspects of his life into his session.

Have an idea you want to incorporate into your senior session? Let me know and we will make it happen!

Jackson attends Allegany High School and intends on going to Frostburg State University when he graduates in May. Although at five years old he wanted to be a policeman, this senior has plans to study biology, wildlife management, and fisheries at FSU.

This 2020 graduate has been playing drums and various percussion instruments for eight years. He is a member of Allegany High School marching band, the indoor percussion ensemble, and the jazz band. He certainly stays busy!

Not only does Jackson love playing the drums, he enjoys hiking and fishing too.

One of Jack and Amy’s favorite memories of their son is his happiness when they decided to adopt Baxter. I think it's easy to tell that these two have a pretty amazing bond!

Congratulations, Jackson, Class of 2020!
