Winter Photography Session in Cumberland, Maryland.
It was a beautiful sunny day for Emily’s session! She was incredibly sweet and an absolute natural in front of the camera!
This stunning senior is graduating from Fort Hill High School incredibly soon (where did the year fly?!) and will be attending Potomac State before transferring to West Virginia University. She wants to be a nurse and has wanted to be a nurse since she was five years old - talk about dedication!
We began her session with a few softball photos! She wanted to document all of the years she had played - thirteen!
Emily has been into athletics most of her life, and in fact she once pitched a no hitter! That sounds amazing, Emily!
During the second portion of her senior session, a group of 5 or 6 deer ran behind her and scared us all! It was certainly a memorable moment as we laughed and laughed afterwards.
Covid caused Emily to miss out on so much, especially when it came to her friends her sports. She didn’t mind virtual learning but she would have preferred face to face interactions with her teachers. On the plus side, she completed three college classes during the first semester! Way to go, Emily!
During her fun water portion, we saw a turtle! I was a little concerned it might be a snapping turtle but Emily and I kept our eyes peeled for the duration of her session!
I had a blast getting to know this soon to be graduating senior! She is obviously caring and we were both laughing the majority of her session!
Looking for a senior portrait photographer? Look no further! KMP has you covered!
It’s hard to believe that graduate is right around the corner, but would you look at that! Here it is! Ryann was a blast to photograph and we even had a storm we needed to outrun. It left us wildly laughing and we enjoyed every bit of her session!
This Fort Hill High School senior wants to be a doctor when she heads off to college in the fall; she wants to study Kinesiology.
Covid changed Ryann’s senior year in many ways. Though it was a hard adjustment to online learning, there were some positives ways Covid impacted her life. With the cancellation of school and sports, Ryann found herself with a lot of free time. She focused her thoughts on the future - which brought her an athetlic scholarship to James Madison University! That’s so exciting, Ryann! Congratulations!
This kindhearted spirit also had time in September to start a fundraiser to raise awareness for for childhood cancer with her sister. They were very successful with this fundraiser! They made many candy bouquets and raffled them off.
This determine, quiet, and kind senior loves hanging out with friends and family, drawing and working out! She’s also involved with two sports, volleyball and track and field. She’s been playing both since she was in the seventh grade.
Though there have been many negative effects of Covid, Ryann prefers to focus on the good. The experience was challenging, but overall she felt she became more mature and learned to take things slower and enjoy them while they last! I think that’s such a positive outlook on life, Ryann!
Ryann, thank you for choosing Karen Morgan Photography as your high school senior photographer!

Chloe’s session was absolutely perfect! She is so stunning and we had an amazing day with beautiful light and scenery! This sweet, kind, and gorgeous senior is excited to be graduating in May 2021.
We started our session in Goldenrod Field. I usually coordinate with my clients about what to wear but Chloe did such an amazing job picking her outfits!
On her way to Frostburg State University to study veterinary medicine, this 2021 senior will be graduating from Mountain Ridge High School in May!
Just LOOK at that backlight among those golden fields! Absolutely breathtaking!
While I got to know Chloe, I also got to know her mother and during that time I learned that her favorite memory of Chloe is her first trip to the beach and how much she loved the ocean and playing in the sand. She may have been little but she never wanted to leave the beach and took her naps lounging under the beach umbrella! I love that!
As if you couldn’t tell from our session so far, Chloe is an outdoorsy girl always ready for an adventure! And not only that, she loves to do makeup and hair or go shopping; but most of all Chloe loves hanging out with her friends and family! Isn’t she just the cutest?
Despite the excitement of graduating, it has been a hard year not having interactions with her friends. Not only that but Chloe couldn’t attend school functions and missed having face to face experiences with her teachers. When things return to normal, she’s very much looking forward to spending time her friends and being able to participate in an actual classroom. I can honestly say, we all can’t wait to get back to normal, Chloe!
Our second location took place in Evitts Creek and let me tell you what, I was so excited when she said she’d be willing to get in the water! I love when clients trust my direction and my eye for creativity!
We had such a great time during Chloe’s session. She was able to express herself and the perfect day with the perfect scenery just added to the beauty of this momentous occasion.
It is important to me as a senior portrait photographer to get to know my clients and help them relax during their session with me. I’m glad I was able to make Chloe feel at ease during her time with me and I can’t wait to hear about the grand things she does in the future! Congratulations, Chloe, Class of 2021!
Dayna’s senior session was unique to her interests and hobbies! I absolutely loved learning about Dayna’s story and capturing her favorite parts of life with my lens!
Dayna is an all-around athlete. She plays volleyball, basketball, and softball; her life is so busy and her parents wanted all of those memories captured in one day with a senior session.
Dayna is a senior at Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg, Maryland. She has plans on attending Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA to play collegiate softball while studying criminal justice.
This stunning beauty was second-team All AMAC her junior year in softball - quite the athlete, she is!
Her favorite memory about Mountain Ridge is making life long friends she will always be able to count on!
This 2020 graduating senior was a fabulous model and the best part of the session was seeing her open up and show the camera how naturally gorgeous she really was.
Dayna chose to do her senior photos in Paris Glendinning Park in Frostburg. I loved the beautiful nature that surrounded us during her session. Her favorite colors have been purples and pinks ever since she has been a little girl, so the park complemented her session so well!
Teenagers only have one senior year and I was so happy to capture everything important to Dayna.
When this busy bee isn’t on the move, she appreciates her hometown and spending time with the friends she loves.
When talking to her mother about her favorite memory of her child, Jennifer said “some of my favorite memories are softball tournaments. The road trips together, watching her play and having fun with her teammates on and off the field.” She loved the talks and silliness after a long day at the softball field.
When Emily wanted to incorporate her hedgehog and horse into her senior portraits, I knew that this session was going to be magical. We managed to have a perfect day with a perfect sunset and I’m excited with how her session turned out! We began Emily’s senior photos at this sweet little pond.
Emily currently attends Allegany High School, but after she graduates, she is planning on attending her first choice college, NC State; and in case you hadn’t figured it out by her love for her horse and hedgehog, Emily intends on studying animal science.
It’s no surprise that when Emily was five years old, she wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up. She certainly has the heart and warmth for the job, that’s for sure!
I had an incredible time being able to capture Emily with her horse while the sun was setting. That orange glow was just the icing on the cake. Not only was that my favorite part of the session, but it was Emily’s too!
Not only does she love riding her horse, reading, art, and taking care of her animals, she loves skateboarding, exercising, puzzles and plants, too. Emily is also in several clubs at Allegany like the Rotary Club, the Art Club, and the National Honor Society. Her interests don’t stop there though! She is a lifeguard at Rocky Gap and she participated in a nature conservation internship.
Emily is certainly on her way to do amazing things at NC State, and I am excited to see all that she accomplishes.
My first time photographing Jordan was in March of 2019 during her junior year for my KMP Senior Model Program. I was absolutely thrilled when she asked me to take her senior portraits. We began in the studio.
I love photographing seniors and making them feel like a supermodel. I guarantee you will have so much fun! I encourage my clients to bring along several outfits and accessories to create the perfect look for you. Remember, senior sessions are all about this exciting phase of life that you are in. It’s a great way to kick off the new school season!
Jordan is graduating from Bishop Walsh this spring and plans on attending Towson University where she wants to study Mass Communications.
Getting to know Jordan was an absolute treat. I learned that when she was five years old, all she wanted to be was a movie star. She certainly has the look, don’t you think?
Jordan loves to play soccer and has been playing since she was five. She is also a cheerleader and has been dancing since she was four years old. Some of her favorite hobbies include shopping with her friends and watching Disney movies.
Jordan said the absolute best part of her senior session was that she felt like herself! She loved being outside with flowers and smiling and just being happy. As a photographer, my goal is to encourage my clients to be themselves!
Jordan was so much fun to photograph! She was full of smiles and excitement and is a true natural in front of the camera. I am looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for her!
Congratulations, Jordan, Class of 2020!
